You can also use this to check engine output at races by changing the closed course readout to 1/4 mile. I was able to diagnose a sticky CV carb slide....

Can you tune my Triumph without a PC or the like? I'm going to need a tune later this spring.

In theory as a shop they can buy a subscription or whatever that lets THEM touch as many Triumphs as they want without buying individual keys. Local shop near me went that route recently if my memory is correct.

Hey Paul, I know a lot of ktm and triumph owners usually use tune ecu. The program is free to download. You do need to either buy or make the usb to ecu cable. Pretty sure they have them on eBay for like $50.

Correct. I bought a $10 cable on ebay and used it to disable the exup valve.

I have no idea at all how to use the program, but maybe some tuner will. It seems to have a good deal of functionality. 100% scared the bejeezus out of me when I started messing around in it.

OK, I would assume a tuner might have a bunch of cables on hand, but I'll look for one. I'm also looking to de-cat, de-exup my bike.

Definitely tuners that are closer, but +1 for John. Great guy, fair pricing, lots of knowledge.
