Holy crap am I friggin toast right now.
Way too much sun, not nearly enough food & water. I was hungry all weekend yet had no appetite. What little food I ate I had to force down.
Went to bed last night with severe cold sweats, full body muscle tension & a headache that borderlined on a migrane. Hardly slept a wink.![]()
Shoulda called in sick today but I'm feelin better now, though my head's still in a fog.
Where's my violin?

I was useless Sunday, and all I did was a day of spectating.
Raises Hand...
I only raced saturday and I still feel like crap. I think I got dehydrated.

I didn't ride a single lap, but being there for 4 days wore me out nonetheless.

Im pretty beat. Did about 3 hours of real work today, the rest of the time ive spent trying to remember what I was doing and ordering parts for my bike.
I am not lucky enough to race yet, but as Arnold would say: "You lack discipline."

Im actually feeling pretty good today. I dont each much until my races are over but I drink about a case of water a weekend. When racing is done I have a big meal to replenish. Wish I had another day up there.
I only get race weekend hangovers when Degs stays over...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Sounds like you didn't put enough fluids in your body Pete.
My legs are usually pretty sore for a couple days, but I feel great today after this last weekend...I rode fri, sat and sun...and wished I was still up there racing.
I try to eat a good amount on race weekends....you need a source of energy to burn on the track.

My lunch during the rider's meeting is chicken fingers and fries with a bottle of water, thirsty or not. Fries get vinegar and a good dosing of salt. Good fat and starch content, salt delivery, and it doesn't sit heavy in your stomach.
I have nothing today, im in a daze... thought of the track combined with the return to the harsh real world has left me befuddled today. But hey, could be worse just ask kid......
I had a race weekend hangover and I didn't even twist a throttle. Go figure.
