When a racer gets hurt we come together, when someone needs parts we help out. A long time LRRS racer is in need of help.
Bart Chamberlain expert number 36 has come under some unfortunate times.
Bart is a welder/fabricator by trade, he worked out of his barn in Hollis Maine. On January 18th he lost not only his business but also everything in the barn. He had tools, vehicles, race bikes and more all gone. I went by today and it was un real, everything is gone. I can't understand how the house didn't go with it, all the siding is melted, hanging off the house. (yes he lost his one of a kind EX!)
For those who don't know him, he had a Air-Streamer with a white converted Utility truck and he most recently raced a Honda CRF450 Motard. (the airstreamer and truck is gone too)
He is a guy who will jump to help anyone, and now he is the one who could use help!
Cathy posted on FB a little while ago that Dana was collecting money for Bart. If you can send a check payable to Dana and he'll give the cash directly to Bart. I sent him a small check and got a thank you card from Bart.

I'm sure anything will help.

Thanks for posting, wishing Bart all the best. Did he have insurance at least?
Really wish I could send something but unemployment has me tapped out.

Damn sorry to hear that. Bart's EX was something else.
Donation made. People were so generous for Chris Dinoia that I felt this is a small way to pay a small bit forward. I hope things improve for Bart.

Any chance you have a paypal address?
You can log onto Paypal and click on send money. Then just enter his email. Thats how I did it.

i have been working with bart chamberlain to fix my exhaust on my ducati 1000ds and wanted to post some pics of the wotrk he did. not only is Bart very fair in his pricing he is a racer who knows bikes and the work he does is the highest quality you can get. i talked to him and said i would post his phone number because hes having computer issues but please dont just goto some car muffler shop like i did and end up miserable with the work and having to redo it later. this is Bart fisrt project since his fire and hes looking to get back into doing more bike work.
phone is 207-590-8302 (bart chamberlain)

Wasn't the Smoke Shack donating all the food to something this coming weekend? How about adding a donation jar at the line - same thing we did for Chris D.?
An email for PayPal would be helpful. I'd like to donate, everyone has been very helpful to me since I got hurt, paying it forward seems like the thing to do.

I have been sending work to Bart whenever I can while he rebuilding. He lost a lifetime collection of tools and bikes in the fire. When I stopped by the only thing recognizable was half a crank laying in a puddle of aluminum. I know Bart well enough to know he would rather have work sent his way than charity.
I will give Bart a call and see how things are, I'm sure he wants work that's the guy he is. He can weld just about anything not just bike pieces however that's his passion.
He's good at straightening wheels too...
