Fishtail Track Day Thompson June 12

Here's a short clip of Thompson during Fishtail's track day June 12. This was the one session where it wasn't raining. Overall impression not bad. They shortened the course by 0.2 miles by eliminating the off camber section of turn 5. There were definitely sections that pooled and had runoff during rain.

Yeah, those "rivers" did make it a bit on the sketchy side. lol

This bike went down on the straight. The owner said it was on full hydroplane when he lost it. very sketchy on the whole straight when it was raining hard.

I've talked to the track and explained that the finish line stripe needs "grip paint". Depending on traffic, you might have to do a steering input there which could also lead to a front straight crash.
