good luck guys. That looks like a crazy track, Gino don't you get bored on the hawk around all that banking? I looked at the track map and all I see is a long boring 2/3 of the track on the SV, just topped out and bouncing off the rev limiter at like 140mph

Anyone wanna sponsor my frankenbike in a class no one cares about?
Come on, someone's gotta try and give the Hawks something to worry about!
I'm getting more and more excited about this! I'm totally pumped that Bill's going to be headed down as well. It'll be great to bounce ideas and strategies off a fellow Hawk rider. Now, if we only had a crew chief that had intimate knowledge of the track AND Hawks. Now that would make me even more excited!

John do you have an estimate cost? Are you driving and towing there?
You assholes got me thinking about this...
2k isn't bad!!!??? shit. is AT&T hiring?
Too rich for my blood right now, I'm still trying to recover from Sept's bill...
I'm borrowing a van from my father and taking my bike and Bill's down. My mother in law is moving to South Carolina from New Jersey so we'll help her on the way down. Plus I've somehow managed to convince my wife and dog to come along so it qualifies as a family vacation and "family time". We'll be staying with relatives for everything but a few nights of camping at the track. I'm cutting corners where I can but really trying to keep it fun and relaxed without worrying too much about the money. It's the one time in my life I expect to go down there and be competitive. I started calculating cost for you and I just get all twitchy so I'd go with Jim's numbers (and I'm going to forget I heard them). It'll be a long winter of not racing for my savings account to hopefully recover.

Give'm hell and come back with white plates!
Jim how are you going down? If I can bring my bike and gear down I will do it.

Got a call into my rents. Joel and Bill may be hooked up with sleeping accommodations.

Hell, last time I went down it was $300 just in diesel. but we had like 14 bikes in a 26' trailer.
