I just learned that the infield construction has started at NHMS. I'll need to find a new pond for the haddock! No details, but there will be some sort of chicane in the Turn 1-1A area during all of this.

I heard they are putting in a woops section with some berms after it and maybe a water trap. gnarly.

Are they using cones to denote this new chicane section or is it new tarmac....or...or....or...?
BTW; sorry about your haddock...![]()
No idea. I'm just giving the heads up because there was the possibility that it wasn't happening until after the first LRRS event.
Bob Perkins just posted at NEAR that there's Jersey barriers across 1A.
Oh well. Damn aliens would have stolen them anyways. They're raising hell with the gnomes.BTW; sorry about your haddock...![]()

Oi!
I may have to roll up there this weekend and check it out.....maybe grab a few pics to post??
I also vote for the jump. Except for in GP races.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
glad I'm going up for Thursday practice! (=

Six years ago, they used the soft barriers to mark off the chicane, think along the lines of the setup when the jump was at start/finish for the real Motard race.

...the man does not lie.
Take what you know from trackdays and pretty much toss it.....other than the basic layout, of course.
