    Hawk Gearing For Summit Point?

Normaly i would ask this over the hawk forum but its been down for a week...

Any one have any idea what we should run for gearing? Or even a general idea of how fast the track is? Thinking of going next week.

The turn onto the straight is pretty fast I want to say it was maybe 4th gear for my bike. Its definately a good literbike track. Fun as hell and pretty easy to learn.

that's a good start. when I ran it with a stocker in 99 I kept gearing up until I couldn't pull 5th then backed off... I was still ordering pizza on the front straight. even back then (with really crappy pavement) the turn onto the straight was flat-out.

a 700 would be a different story of course.

I hope the pavement's gotten a lot better
