I went up to the LRRS races last week and one of my "usual suspects" for snapping pictures wasn't there.
I had heard that he had a nasty high-side on Saturday.
Anyone heard about how he made out?
Yeah he had a severe highside up turn 4. Hope he's ok.
Hey all,
Wanted to check in...thank you to the people who have called, emailed, text to check on me...very aprieciated.
Yeah, a violent high side in T4 during the GTU race on the restart...my own fault and totaly unnecessary to be pushing...all i had to do was finish 5th or better to hold my second place standing in the championship...got a zero for that race as well as my other 4 races during the weekend...looks like i finish up the season: 2nd in F-40,3rd in UNSB,3rd in HWSB,3rd in HWSS,and 3rd in GTU...still something to be proud of,however i am super disapointed in myself for tossing it.
The injury:
Have seen multiple doctors since going to the ER on Sun. and though i still have to meet with two surgeons on Wed. for the final game plan, i dislocated my right knee, complete tear of the ACL,complete tear of the MCL,partial tear of another ligament, and meniscus cartiledge damage, hopefully my left hip is ok,the knee kinda stole the doc's spotlight but i have a HUGE nasty looking bruise on the left hip/buttock area.
Definatly NOT how you want to end the season...pissed at and dissapointed in myself...but,can't change it now and it could have been worse.
Again, thank you for the calls and emails...bored silly, not being able to do much so i will be checking in often i'm sure.
Freddy.

Heal up quick Freddie. I was in T3 watching when it happened and frankly it looked downright nasty.
