There's truth and charm and beauty
And strangeness everywhere
The closer we examine
The more there's nothing there
Did you ever get it dynoed and mapped?

Any lines going to the airbox/intakes that were involved with the evap canister should be plugged. If you pulled the lines, plug the ports.

Your overflow container should have a vent line. Preferably long and down to the belly pan. Sounds counter intuitive to vent a catch bottle... but when you've got lines expecting to see atmospheric pressure and instead are getting vacuum or high pressure it can muddle things up.
Wirelessly posted
Do you have grilles in your air intake? I not you might have a mouse nest in one of the intakes.
I think this is likely the problem, the only vent was the drain valve which is closed. I plan on testing this theory later this week when it's not raining and I can get her outside without falling on my butt. I'm also bringing the bike to my dealer next week to have them check all my wrenching to make sure that I don't find the problem myself in turn 1.![]()
Thanks for all the advice everyone!

Paul... you should totally buy CEO's 'tard, and then a garage spot from DZircher... it's almost as if the universe is aligning to allow you to make a comeback?
Well, I just happen to be home sick today so I decided to open the petcock on the overflow bottle, stick the ass end of the bike out the french doors of my house and start it. A quick survey under throttle and it seems like that indeed did the trick. Looks like I'll need to add another vent line as was suggested and run it down to the lower catch pan I guess.
Once again, thanks for the advice everyone! I'm still bringing her into the mechanic that worked on my Monster to let him check my work. Can't believe that the the first NHMS weekend is approaching so fast.

Niiiiiice. I'm extra paranoid, if there is any chance those vent lines can breathe in, I like to put a filter on the vent. I'm crazy like that though.
