Any of you reprobates going to be at the track tonight?
Boston Moto needs a little help.
I'll be up there at about 8pm-9pm and I need to get our tire machine from the storage facility outside the track and bring it to our garage. it only takes about 20 minutes with 2 people, but I'll be on my own and we don't have a trailer yet either (we are buying one in the winter). What I need is:
1. use of a trailer for about 30 minutes
2. Help with the tire machine. It is on wheels but ti is really too heavy for 1 person to move.
Boston Moto will hook a helper/trailer supplier up with some $$ off tires or a case of beer/ bottle of your favourite liquor/wine.
Anyone?
Thanks
degsy
Derek,
I got ya, buddy.
I'll give you a call around 3 or 4 oclock and we'll hash out the details

I think we can use mine...?
I will just have to unload my bike first.
If the width of the tire changing machine wheels lines up with the two ramps I have I think those will work... Otherwise we'll have to figure something else out. The bed tilts... we could try that maybe?

Yes a 2" is what I think I have on my jeep and it works... we can just tow it with my jeep since it will already be hooked up anyways

Hey Degsy,
Seems like you have a partial solution so far... I won't be at the track, but I only live about 45 minutes away so I could drop in to give you a hand if a better solution doesn't materialize.
Are you looking for a trailer because the machine just won't fit in the bed of a truck, or is a truck just too hight off the ground to want to lift the machine into it? If it's a height thing, would 3 people be able to safely get the machine in and out of a truck?
I don't have a trailer to offer, but I do have a one piece folding ramp and a truck... let me know if this can be helpful to you.

Degs you know I'll be up there around that time. Hollah on the cellphone!!

My truck was towed today in Boston (as I just discovered) so I'm going to be way behind schedule. Not even sure if I'm coming up tonight at this point.

Degs, you FUCK! JUST CALL!
My 6x12 trailer has three ramp-gates, about 20 tie-down anchors, and has a 2" coupler. And I have four different draw bars for your receiver to insure we get the correct rise/drop with your truck...
Wait, what?
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
