Thanks for cornerworking this weekend bro!!
Sunday morning we almost did not get to practice due to a lack of cornerworkers.
Trackdog has worked for us at least the last two weekends in a row.
Thanks to you from all of the LRRS riders.

Thanks again Trackdog for helping out with corner working again![]()

Thanks man... There has been a lot of talk in other forums about the lack of cornerworkers for the races. This has brought about a lot of talk about how to compensate people for what they do out there.
Here is my thought for our little community, which is also being talked about on the NEAR list.
All the racers who hang out here can contribute x amount of dollars if they want to, that can be given to the NESR members who corner work for the day. I think it is the least that we can do, what is $5 a piece in the grand scheme of expenses of racing.

5$ for life insurance that you actually use? That's cheap, I'm in.

Thanks everyone!....but the real truth is I really enjoy helping out and making sure you ALL have a safe racing experience.
I've been attending LRRS events since the late 80's...and cornerworking is just taking the whole experince to the next level..been meeting and talking bikes with some great folks too!
Future Trackdays are in the future for me...and watching different rider's lines over and over should put me to an andavtage. And...sorry to say...but I learn from the unfortunate riders who decide to "park"in my corner....alot of the time you can actually SEE the crash unfold as it is happening and even see what caused the rider to crash...some are like they in slow motion as you watch it happen...............
The down side to cornerworking is I get to watch my buddies enjoying themselves, cooking Hondaburgers andand your stuck in the same corner all day...I have been lucky so far as that Nancy hasn't assigned me the same corner thus far........

Word of advice though, try different corners! It's Fun.... just avoid 1 on wet days, its more than a lot of work.
