Finally got through all three races. What an awesome weekend all around!
My bullets:
-Marquez is truly something else
-Bautista had a good race
-Rossi's late race pace is amazing, especially for a track that he dislikes. I still have faith that if he can figure out the first half of the race he'll be battling for podiums consistently
-Pedrosa impressed me...possibly for the first time ever. He was obviously in lots of pain, you could tell by his post race demeanor, but he sucked it up and got in front of Lorenzo.
-Ducati battle. Awesome. I wish it got more coverage but the front guys were so entertaining I can't blame them for showing them the whole time.
-I'm a big Redding fan, glad to see him keep Espargaro at bay.
-Rabat rode a beautiful race, nice to see strategies play out
-Shame to see Nakagami lose that lead, but I was pumped when he got the podium. Guess all strategies don't play out...
-Moto 3 was the same as always, ultra competitive. If you guys are not watching Moto 3, I highly suggest reviewing the first half of the season.
-Really wanted Marquez to get the win, but a second place is solid. It's amazing this was his first podium it seems he's always so damn close.
Couple motogp vids.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
I actually liked the Hayden/Dovi clash at the last turn. That really was something.
Marquez?!! Forget about it (with an Italian accent).
US Wildcard James Rispoli did well in Moto2. Some may remember young James at 14yr old showing up to race a CRF450 motard at Loudon, battling with Gene Berrio in Amateur Ultralight Superbike!![]()
