Are they going to let the 03 ZX-6R race with the other 600s in LRRS?
Just curious since it sounds like it's a nice bike but it's cheating from a race standpoint.
(Not that I remember seeing a whole lot of Kawasaki's at the track last year anyway)

Best as I can tell, there are SOME classes they can run in. But it's hard to tell with that damn LRRS rule book.....![]()
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
I believe they built two versions of that bike. The ZX 6 R with the 636cc motor and ZX 6 RR that is a 599cc.
Yes... I've been reading about them a lot... just curious if the 636cc one will end up being allowed in some kinds of racing because the 599cc one is going to be so rare.
Not that I want to buy one to race or anything. Just curious what was going to happen on a local level.
Ben
No, the 636 is not legal in anything in the 600 class as far as I am aware. The 636 can run in Heavyweight SS, heavyweight SB and unlimited. That is why they also built the RR. so that they can run Supersport with it as it is only 599cc.
The rules say you can start with a 599cc bike and overbore it 1mm

636 is kickin the cucka out of the gixxer 750's in SS racing. Alot of guys are getting them now. And I must say....a fabulous streetbike. Gets much better reviews than the 6rr is getting. Color oprions galore and no flashy graphics.
