Installing Lights on a CRF

Has anyone done this? I gather you probally need a lighting stator. But beyond that, if i just wanted to run a head light and a tail light what would i need to make it work? I have seen kitts but they are expensive and have shit i dont need or want. Thinking about doing the ammanusic turkey run this year.

ya I had a buddy convert his crf450 for street use and had his stator rewound by bajadesigns I believe.
