that was my problem, got the page and background but no grids, didn't know if the problem was on my end or not.

Does it go by total points from 2012 and then time of entry?

1st round gridding is by entry racing. First person to reg for a class gets pole, etc. For the 2nd and subsequent rounds it's by points. Grids don't exist until closer to the event IIRC...

1st round gridding is set by previous year points, with champion on pole if you have no points for the previous year then its set in order of entry.

they posted a sheet on the registration window about some app that costs $4.99. I didn't read the whole thing but I think it said if you want live timing and all that good stuff you gotta buy it. kinda bullshit if that's right because its built into the current system so why deactivate it. dick move to make a few bucks.

I'm a total new comer to LRRS and MC racing at NHMS. I for one found it frustrating that I could not see grid info on my phone at all Saturday. Would have made my spectating experience much better. The classes are a completely foreign concept to me. I have no idea if my favorite racer is even eligible to race in a given class. I want to see their number listed under a header that says "race 4" or some such.. then I'll be on the lookout for "race 4".

And I ain't payin' for no app.

Did anyone actually buy the app and can verify that it works? Yes I hate being nickle and dimed, but honestly $5.00 for the app is not the end of the world. It was really frustrating this weekend not having grids and live timing on the phone. There should have been some sort of announcement about this.
