Wasn't there a thread about different type of plugs that no one uses?

Like the 3 prong washer dryer type or something?

The three-prongers are 240VAC connections. You can run a number of outlets off one of those (and a welder!).

Couple 50's are the best. 100's sometimes don't leave enough gumption for high amp draw devices. With the 50's you don't have to use all of it if you can make it within 50'.

CBR, Do we need to build another one of those 110->220 breakout boxes? I seem to remember a lot of tripped breakers last year.

The plugs at the track are 4 prong 50 amp.

I have a 25' long cord (6 guage flex wire) with the 50 amp plug on one end and a double outlet box with 2 20amp GFCI outlets, it worked great for me and whoever else would plug into it at the time. Someone wants it, $50

What is this you speak of? I was gonna get (if they make it) a 240vac to 120 box.

That's what I was speaking of, yep. And I don't believe they make them. If they do, they're expensive. A lot more than $50. You got a deal.

Well, that settles it then. You'll just have to bring your trailer up to NH for each race weekend.
