Bear in mind, I skipped practice that morning due to the rain (too lazy to swap wheels) so this was my first time on the track for the weekend, and I hadn't figured out T1 yet... oh, and I'm on the GS, so now you can see what 40hp feels like on a 400lb bike. : )
Nice vid bud. Looks like you were taking the same line through the new section that I was Saturday. Doesn't work too well, does it?
If by 'line' you mean 'vague generally on the track-ish wanderings' than yeah. I was MUCH better in LWSB, and better still on the tardy tard.
Yup, that's what I was doing too. Granted only ran 2 races on Saturday, but I turned in too soon for every one except one. That other I just forced myself to leave the throttle on for what seemed like forever. Ended up unable to make the apex of 1, was by the grass on the right before 1a, and even though it was a different screw up (nice change of pace) I still screwed it up. I think I had it by the end of the day... sort of.
what kind of camera is that? i havent seen a cam system yet that brings out the colors like this video. the sky is kinda erie looking

Go-pro is awesome! I love mine!
Never seen proof of an EX pulling on something...
And yes, I've made fun of Alex for pulling over and taking a nap in 7 enough for everyone.
Looks like you need to get on the gas sooner in 3 and let it drift out a little more. Seemed like your line was a little tight.
and you might try to take a tighter 10. Closer to the big blue wall and you won't hit that bump.
6-9, 11 and 12 looked really good though and you are making up time on the brakes in 3.
Actually as I continue to watch... your lines looked good when you had clear track.
Nice pass on the outside of 6.

Alex gave me some good advice for 9, I'm staying way tight there, need to let the bike push out more before tightening up for the apex.
3 I'm crawling, still spooked from my lowside in 4 I think.
Watching BJ and Smoking Joe I should charge harder into 6 and then bang a downshift (or two?!) so when I get on the gas I power out (as best a GS500 can).
Lots of places to work on things, thanks for the pointers!
I'm really glad you made this video. I recently turned my first timed laps and was feeling pretty good after discovering I was in the low 1:30s (PB 1:32.8 on an SV650) Knowing that your times on the GS are in that range I was interested in finding out how you do it.
...and I learned a new lesson, lap times dont mean anything
You're lines are way better than mine and I never would have made that pass in T6. Nice riding, Kurlon!
Are you laughing because its pink? Thats awesome because it makes me laugh too!
