I've been wanting to get up there and watch some races. Where could I find the race schedule? Also is there admission?
I would assume there are amateur and expert classes? Are there classes that could be considered pro that race up there?
Thanks.
LRRSRacing.com has a link to the schedule.
Practice on Sat and Sun is 8 to 11ish.
Racing starts at noon on Sat and Sun.
There are 3 levels for each race...Novice, Amateur and Expert.
The Expert 600cc-1000cc classes has some really fast guys that do race or used to race at the Pro AMA level.
You can also go the NHMS website and look for a link to the LRRS motorcycle racing.
First weekend is usually a little light on attendance but still worth checking out.
Admission for the weekend is $25...or it was $25, not sure if it changed this year.

Definitely come watch! People are very friendly. Introduce yourself to ... anyone and everyone and you'll have a good time. We'll be in the MOTOADDICTION garage right next door to the Dunlop tire garage. Look for the BLUE bikes. We'll gladly help answer any questions you may have.
I urge you to bring a camera. You can check out the various vendors, eat at the Checkered Resturant, meet the racers and ask questions. Definitly want to get up close to Turn 1 at the beginning of a race to watch all the bikes go into the corner jockeying for position. Another fantastic viewing spot is the legendary bowl in T6. This coming Saturday night will have a barbeque and a band in the Checkered Resturant with BYOB.
Watching Narbone roll around road atlanta now. Well he's in 18th once in a while you can catch a glimpse.
