Just as a note, as this was not done in the past, the staff is are putting an effort to do the right thing this year by including the Amateurs in the presentation. So, if any of you won an Amatuer championship, I understand that you will be all called up together on stage and will get a token of appreciation for your efforts. They've never done this before, and more than whatever you get to take home for your efforts you will get recognized in front of the crowd and will get to call yourself an LRRS champion.
I applaud these efforts as I feel that the guys that came all year and finished well as Amateurs deserve to be recognized. Next year, Amatuers will go into the year knowing that they are competing for Amateur Championships, which give them solid goals to shoot for and things to tell their sponsors about. All in all - this is definite step in the right direction.
I hope to see everyone there this year!
