imo i think the dropping of one event is a dumb rule.. all it means it that all the money that the experts spend on that weekend is for nothing. The guys who race every weekend are the ones going for the championship. and if somthing happens during a race that causes that rider to get a 0 then so be it, this is still racing and anything can happen.

I agree with you. That was brought up on NEAR a month or so ago, and BJ said, if you dont like it, use the email posted on the LRRS website and make your feelings known. They arent against changing it if thats what people want.

So I'm 8 points behind Hull with the final round to go. Missing two rounds really killed me as otherwise I think I'd have 3rd in Ultralight Superbike wrapped up pretty handily. Oh well, work (AMA races) conflicted.

I like the One Drop rule. This is club racing and a hobby. Life comes up and chances are we'll all have to miss a race here and there.

I hope rumors of Jeff Wood celebrating championships by taking on a different ride is true.

That's fun to watch until he rides a bike that you think you're really fast on, and he goes like 4 seconds a lap faster on like the second lap he's ridden that particular bike in like 5 years.

He's just gotta be cutting a corner somewhere!

j/k I agree 100%. Life comes up when you do this as a hobby. If you got zero points on a given weekend while you were at the track and capable to race, such is life, it's a racing incident.
