light beer is for the weak, sam adams is the only real beer worth drinking and if you drink something else you aren't a real drinker

thanks - that's my only point...
I see Al's kid #132 running 19's on his 125 - that he's been racing for 3 years, then get out there and run solid 23's after a full season on the 600. Different animal -
From now on, nobody should be allowed to reference anything but foreseen differences in costs, and personal RACING experience in response to these threads - not convincing themselves they are in the best class by bashing other classes to newbs - not "I know a guy who knows a guy who crashed a 600 in his novice race" - not "my rascal has more wheel spin than that ex" - not "I rode a liter bike on the street once and my hawk is more fun to race"
much respect to the guys who have been around long enough and fortunate enough to run multiple classes - if Loudon was going to stay a small track, I'd be all about getting a motard suited up... but once my financial priorities change, I may be running a single sided swing-arm.

Re: Lt. Wt. twin VS. Middle Wt. I-4???
I dont race a 600 cause I dont like them. I dont ride one on the street, and dont ever forsee myself riding one again. But thats personally preference. I like riding slow pieces of shit bikes faster than normal riders, and that makes me happy.
Ive been offered to ride peoples 600s at track days, and I have no interest, dont know why, but I just like LW bikes.

Re: Lt. Wt. twin VS. Middle Wt. I-4???
Why is everyone thinking this is an argument?
Light beer drinkers drink MUCH Faster than Guiness drinkers (well most of them do).

yet again, giving opinion on others... have you even heard of an irish car bomb?

Re: Lt. Wt. twin VS. Middle Wt. I-4???
Not an opinion but what I have observed.

Re: Lt. Wt. twin VS. Middle Wt. I-4???
You're all pussies.
MW was called the meatgrinder class from back a few years when there used to be 3 waves in the mw superbike race, all in the same class. I think the biggest grid I was in was 58 bikes. When wave 3 is ready to go, wave 1 is approaching turn 9, that's scary.
Now that the grids have 15 bikes in them, there's no meatgrinding going on, it's a nice parade from lap 2 in most races.
In my personal opinion, you see far better races in the middleweight classes from a spectator point of view, but I always wanted to race middleweight because it seemed more like the racing I see on tv. There, I said it, I raced middleweight because I wanted to be like the guys on tv....
.....and anyone who races club level who says they don't want to be like the guys on tv, even just a little bit, is lying. Even hessotoocoolforschool:wink:

Degsy also walked to school 18 miles in the snow, uphill both ways, with nothing more than a phonebook taped to his feet.
Thats how they did things back in the day yknow!

um yea... and if you're running at a race pace as a control rider for tony, i'd be shocked...
i think anything in a competitive environment and race pace is going to be more fun!

Re: Lt. Wt. twin VS. Middle Wt. I-4???
Well it's been repeated 10 times in this thread, if you haven't spent race time on both your opinion is hearsay, yet it's the people that haven't spent time on both that keep giving their opinion. Mine is the best because I know nothing else. True americans in here.

Re: Lt. Wt. twin VS. Middle Wt. I-4???
I say you should race whatever the f@#k you want.
It will still be one of the coolest things you will ever do.:shredder:
Oh yeah, I have raced on a 750 and a 650 twin.

Do we need to have finished a complete lap to count as racing one?
