Hey guys,

I figured the cost of gas and lodging, and I'm playing with the idea of driving he denali out with the BIG trailer... can hold up to 7 (me plus 6)... $300 per person if we can get 5 (includes fuel to get there and back with your bike in tow and 2 nights hotel stay). $250 if we get 7.

Otherwise, if one or two of you crazies are willing to go, i'm down to ride the bike both ways.

plan: Drive overnight from springfield, friday evening, Sept 12. Drive home monday morning sept 15.... chance of a lifetime for a couple hundred bucks and one day vacation.

What kind of big trailer are we talkin? Sounds like a good idea. Beats trying to find a hotel now. And if you choose to ride all the way there.. I may be up for that.

24' toy trailer... I have the room handled. Super Duper Platinum Priority club at holiday in.

and for the 37 year old funny guy - have you tried to drive a denali through streets filled with 100,000 motorcycles? How about parking?

food, you can scalp tickets for $100 or so.

I heard Motel 6 still have room and tix are still avail direct from the speedway direct.

I guess it's not going to fly... not enough interest in the trailer thing... wish i had a more economical trailer, but for 7mpg with the tailer, it's not worth it to most. I'll either a. hitch a ride/trailer the bike, b. fly out for the weekend, c. miss it.
