I'll let Degs speak up, but after denno ran out of gas this season, I think I'll be topping off each race to be safe

Sometimes ya just gotta believe that when you say to two supposedly intelligent people "put some gas in the bike" that they might...well, put some gas in the bike.

Seriously, I'll be more of a watcher and adviser for Kitt and Denno. I'll be able to check split times (something very few people do in club racing) and go out to the corners and listen to the bikes and watch the bikes. It's surprising what you can pick up. How many racers here on NESR are stagnant at one lap time for over a year, or 3 years, or 5 years? That's because they don't think they have anything to learn or do. Racing is a progression and every half second you gain, everything changes from setup to gearing to tires. Sometimes it takes someone else in the team to point this stuff out.

All I can say is Degs owns at least 2-3 seconds (maybe more) of my improvement this past season. Whether its advice on gearing, suspension settings for rain or dissecting a turn by just observing - his input really has been priceless for me. Thats my 2 cents.

I never realized it until then, but it's paved, I was shocked when I saw him pop out in front of me when pulling out of 12 haha.

do people really put it on their resume? i dunno, i tell people i do trackdays on a motorcycle and they call me crazy... yea that's what the cars do most of the time, just run straight onto the oval out of 11.

but actually, the direct of of engineering here was stoked to read motorcycle racing in my activities section, and is part of why I have my job!
