Ok so who wants to practice our race launches and go down to New England Dragway friday night?
5-10pm "Street" Drag night. You just need to bring and strap a red light to your tail.

What are the safety gear requirements?
A trap of 11.99 or faster than 120 requires a tether and leather pants in addition to the other required safety gear.
Detailed rules are on the NED website.
EDIT: I'm gonna see about making the trip. Gonna run the FZ to she what she can do.

I've been looking forward to going all winter. I just got full leathers too. I've never been (well I went to ford fun weekend, but I've never run). What is the plate on the side of the bike? Also any ideas on how to mount my kill switch to my wrist? I dont see how that is possible with mine.

you have to have a number plate. they sell the black license plate backer for a buck I think. They assign the number.
You need a tethered kill switch. My is a marine kill switch, available at any bout store or Walmart, that is spliced into the regular mounted kill switch.
I'm usually there in my daily driver making bikes look silly!
I may race my zx10 this year.

I'm hoping to add a few more mods before I go up there. I can't wait!

Last year they were getting pretty touchy about the kill switches. They had to be legitimate store bough and not a cable screwed to the switch etc. Just throwing that out there. Also there has to be leather in your gloves which most of you should be fine with. If you dont want to wear full leathers you dont have to. Just get on the brakes at the top end of the track and drop your speed to 120 or less if all you are looking to do is practice launching etc. They will attached a number plate to just about anything so no worries there.
