At $350 / set for slicks, you're more than welcome to piss your $ away elsewhere all ya want, the Conti's will do quite well if the feedback thus far is anywhere near accurate. As for me, I'll be on the conti's if we carry em, but I got no qualms with Dunlop, I rode them and the Pirellis back when I was racing full time. Sure didn't see 2 sec's worth of difference then.

Neither did George Tarricone. 1:13.9 on Pirelli in '08 (GSXR750), 1:14.7 on Dunlop in '09 (GSXR1000)

Dunno what his PB's are on either, but I'm pretty sure he didn't crack 12's this year... on an ex-Wood 1000 with these OMFGSOMUCHFASTER tires....

What vested interest do I have in defending Pirelli? The point is, was, and will always be... there's no way any tire is 2 seconds / lap faster at Loudon, period. Just ain't within this realm of reality bud. Shows a lotta class hacking the tire and company that hooked you up for nearly a full season repeatedly any chance you get. I'm not making an argument about Boston Moto or anything else, I'm attempting to prove a point, that your claim of a 2 second drop is BS. At the lap times you're talking about, 2 seconds is monumental and has to do with a lot more than what sticky round thing you slap on a bike.
