Anyone read through the new rules for this year? They're cracking down, it appears. Here are my main thoughts:
$200 to leave a trailer for the summer, another 200 for the winter. That seems fair enough.
Can't operate anything motorized outside the tunnel unless it's insured for a million. So much for riding pit bikes to reg or T6 I guess. (see edit below, I'm an idiot)
Bicycles are restricted to infield only as well. Looks like getting to registration is now a walk or drive your car/truck deal.
These last 2 are rough hits, IMO. Oh well, I'll still be there every weekend.
Crap, I'm just on an editing roll today. If the motorized vehicle is tagged for road use it looks like it doesn't need the million in insurance, so I guess you can throw a moped sticker on a scooter pit bike and still use that to get to/from T6 & up to reg.

No riding a bicycle?

From what I gather, anyone can ride them in the camping area and racers can ride them in the pit area, but nobody can ride them outside the tunnel? Reading comprehension clearly isn't my strong suit today, maybe I'm reading it wrong? http://www.nhms.com/documents/camping_rules.pdf
idk man..imo little things like letting us store the camper for free on the property that even isnt being used is another reason for us to come spend money there racing, now i hafta come up with 400 that i wasnt expecting, its not alot i know but still, i was ok with the camping fee of 25.00, i dont like this.

I wish I knew we could bring new trailers in and pay a fee before I spent countless hours & $ trying to get mine to slightly less shitty condition because it was grandfathered in. That's probably what sucks most for me. I'm not thrilled about a vehicle needing to be registered to get to T6 and/or registration either, those are pretty standard pit bike uses IMO. These new rules make the pit bike and the tramper I bought last year both seem like pretty useless purchases.
Looks to me like a driver's license will do it.
It doesn't say if we need to meet one or all of the criteria for that.

I'm no lawyer, but the way I read that it needs to meet all 3 conditions.Nobody shall operate any motorized vehicle outside of the tunnel/infield area which is
not registered properly to be operated on public roadways unless it has met the
following conditions:
a. Is displaying an NHMS Motorized Vehicle Pass (This pass may be purchased for
the season at the Operations office. The fee for the pass is $20.
b. The owner of the vehicle must be able to provide a certificate of Insurance
coverage in the amount of $1,000,000.
c. The Operator of the vehicle must maintain a valid driver’s license issued by their
state or province of residence.![]()
Guess it's time to lube the chain up on the 'ol BMX .... and leave it at the exit of the tunnels.... On the other hand I do need to practice walking.![]()

So where exactly are the fire lanes near the garages?
"No power cords or water hoses will be permitted to cross roadways. "

This should be an interesting year......

WTF. This is uber gay. Are they trying to lose racers?

The solution is simple, park your bikes at the end of the tunnel. I'm sure it'll be fine when there's 43 bicycles and mopeds blocking the exit of the tunnel.
Weekend Schedule is up.

Hm... the pitbike thing is lame, but I think I'm covered with a street legal scooter, since it is my vehicle in this case, and not my pitbike.
The no electric near the garages, and some of the other comments I agree with. If I can't camp near the garages, I expect full-time security in each garage (N 1 & 2, C 1 & 2) to have a security officer on patrol who knows each rider and their bikes/belongings... I am not going to camp 1/2 mile from my toolbox.
With that said, I'm still looking forward to this season and seeing what may stick or hold, but I am going to reiterate, NJ is equidistant for me, and if I dont like the changes at NHMS, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Anyone want to buy a couple race bikes?
Oh, an RV too.
Bummer. Looks like the multi-billion dollar corporation finally caught up with the formally privately owned quirky NH track.

Time to talk with your rider reps.

I don't feel like a cheap asshole anymore.
Way to make even more people leave LRRS.
It's clear they don't want us there. No sweat, I'm happy to oblidge.
Well, not happy, but it's no longer a tough decision for me. They keep making it easier.

It's ok, there won't be a need to get up to the reg building once online registration happens.
And the intercom/PA system will work.
Really.
