Good point - for the most part trackdays are during the week - and to attend, some folk have to forgo work income or use up vacation time...
I know BostonMoto has a weekend track date as does Tonystrackdays.
But we are really talking about two different animals that serve two entirely different needs - trackdays vs racing. Sure there is some fringe cross over but it's at the fringes, not at the cross hair (as to why people do one vs the other)

Online reg is REALLY nice. Make things a lot more convenient.
Thanks for getting this going LRRS.

It certainly is nice... but it isn't like it will help my grid position any.![]()

No, really, corner workers can't ride a bicycle either? Can we get that changed? I don't feel like hauling ass over to whatever turn they assign me and making it just before the flag goes down. They always say they need corner workers but there's no chance I'll be making it on time...

Operation Diversion was declared a sucess by LRRS. Get these dopes worrying about online registration and if they can ride minibikes around with a million dollars worth of insurance and they will all forget about all the increases we piled on them.
Doc, it is our fault for these increases. We tell the salesman "I will buy the new car". He says let me get back to you on the price but in the meantime give me a large non-refundable deposit......Pay for your license by January 15 or we will sell your number......Payment for the garage must be recieved by such and such a date. Bullshit. Make all and any costs known before we buy crap then we can have a bargaining chip by withholding the deposit. It is no simpler than that.
Apologies. I shall not be leading any stonings. Just thought it was rather clear and this whole thread has been a ton of uproar or (what IMO) is very little substance (which I highlighted in my huge post a few pages back) and it drives me batty. I literally had a ton of people IM'ing and emailing me about all this shit before I even read the rules. I thought it was the end of the world as we know it. Turns out, not so much.
Thanks for corner working.

Yes because NHMS lives and dies by your $1000 garage rental fee. Please. How about the new rules weren't finalized until recently whereas the garage deadline for fees has been unchanged for the last million years. That's another theory.

You could always go race USCRA.. oh wait...

I'm with ya, Mike. Isn't NJMP starting to sound pretty sweet now?
I like the idea of parking in front of my garage. As it is, I need to drive up after work on Thursdays (luckily, only 30min) and drop it off to ensure I have a spot for the weekend. Almost every weekend, we've had to ask people to move - and they weren't happy about it.
The camping thing doesn't affect me, but probably won't do as much racing as before. Track days offer much more time on the track - and the dirt is calling me again...

Thanks for the Pre-reg LRRS. Definitely progress in the right direction! I'm sure there's a lot of work behind the scenes that we can't even fathom.
