Correct, save the money. I wasn't kidding before, the PA is working great now.

I also saw the curbing in 2, looks really good. I didn't ride last month to experience the concerns in 9 and 1a.

The speakers are on in the outfield but they still cut in and out. They're usually understandable if you have a general idea of what is going on.

The score board was awesome... and useful in judging time before your race and it well... just looks cool!!!

As a follow up, the PA system now works everywhere and the big tower is really cool. Seeing results, race number, laps....almost makes so that if the PA died it wouldn't be a big deal.

They are going to purchase a bunch more of the yellow curbing to finish the job in turn 2. There is a hump there....not likely to get it ground. I'll give away Penguin tid bit, staying tight to the cones past where the present yellow curbing ends makes it better....I'm looking forward to getting rid of the lates cones because those are the ones that I almost clip.

I'm also looking forward to putting out almost another 300 feet of airfence. We will extend turns 12 and 2 and will also likely place a couple catch pads in the most likely impact zone in turn 1a.

Scotty G got to test airfence this weekend - he punched the wall to the left of turn 7-8 at close to 80 mph and walked away unhurt....pretty cool stuff.

From a corner marshall standpoint, this is what I am excited about. The scoreboard is cool too, but getting people back out onto the track after an off is always a thrill, so the more safety measures in place, the better off we all are! Not to mention not having to clean up a gaping hole in the tires every time someone falls in 1a will be a nice change.

This weekends improvements where awesome. They are going in the right direction. I got my times down close to my pb so I cant complain at all. Eric thanks for the help in class and hopefully Ill be able to talk someone into coming up to the track for the two day school in June

Just wanted to say THANKS! The snakes in 9 were trouble free, as was the line in 1A. Even in the rain! Everything was awesome! Major props! Can't wait to see what the classic will bring!

I made it a point to thank the LRRS staff in person while I was in the media center.

At the time, I was catching up with Wanda on a few things and wasn't sure who got the feed back but as I thanked her, a man from LRRS (whose name I don't know) piped up from down the table and was rather gracious about the positive feedback.

It was great to be able to, after a year off, jump back into racing and be able to participate competitively without much worry to all the changes that have taken place.
