    New Paint Done!

I had some major issues with this paint job but its done.
This was my first time using a 2 stage paint with a clear coat and I got some orange peel effect from not having the gun set properly and needing to reduce the paint more than instructed.
I also had a huge issue where the paint was pulling off the bodywork wherever I used tape. The paint just didn't adhere well to the sealer I used.
I'm not overly happy, but it looks cool and hopefully will stay shiny for a while.

Nice job! Just curious, did you do it in the current heat wave we're experiencing?

    Thanks.
Yes I painted up to today...in a very hot tool shed in my backyard. I'm sure that contributed to the clearcoat hardening too quickly causing orange peel.

It was recently proven in a Garage 24 sample study that Baby Blue Argile has a fierce attraction to pavement.
I would need to re-paint way too often.

The question is which is the faster color? I think we all know the current answer to that question...

    Hey Nate!
Hows the next Valentino Rossi doing? Is he at least on a Powe Wheels by now?
Why don't you like my number plates? They will be white once I can do consecutive 17's....2 more race weekends!
