Where does the hold up take place? NHMS or CCS
We're talking months here and it's a bit annoying to say the least.
Hoping to get some suggestions on streamlining this process as I fear, based on past experiences, it's not an issue with the CCS offices.
I could be wrong....![]()
after speaking to someone at CCS about this subject, it's LRRS.
here's an email i recieved from him
LRRS has the lowest participation in contingency of any region in the
country. If you check results from other regions you will find 80-90%
while LRRS is around 20%. Doesn't make sense to me.
Sandy does a good job of getting forms done and completed. I dont know where it goes from there, but I assume LRRS sends them to CCS for verification and CCS processes it.
I dont know where the 80-90 % numbers come from. But I can tell you with racer entries being down and alot of non starters.. I am seeing very little as far as payouts. Most of my classes dont meet the minimun required starters/finishers to get paid by the people I submit for contingency.
Took a couple months for me to get mine, I earned some running pirelli, I didn't get their contingency till after I was on dunlops for two months. Thats been my experience.
But I agree with Scott grids just haven't been there
Bergs, i can say that i was contacted from Continental and CCS Contingency saying that my personal sponsor sheet had to list Contintal Tires on there. once i made the change/add on the form with Sandy, my tire contingency $$$ came in.
I wish I got paid to race

Brady, same result here. I assumed I did something wrong signing up on the website but I've re-signed up and still haven't seen any kind of notification.

All my forms are correct so its not a matter of missing information on them.
With the smaller grids, there is, in my mind, even less of an excuse for these delays.
All but 2 of the MW races I've entered this year had plenty of riders to cover the minimum rider requirements.
I just got home and there are 2 dunlop contingencies from august 20th and sept 3rd events. As far as racer participation like I mentioned before: Sept weekend - I won gtu, mwss, mwsb, mwgp , unlss & unlsb. I got paid 200 for mwgp & mwsb. The other classes didn't meet the requirement for race entries/finishers.
Cmon ppl. Race!!! Or AM's need to bump! LOL

I got my $$$$ from Dunlop today also from the last race weekend and I really think its the vendor and not Lrrs or there fault.. Mine has a received date of 9/19 and issue date of 9/22 so that tells me it's the vendor... So...
And also I would like to get a hat fund for Sandy cause she does what we would have to do and worry about...if no one wants to throw in I'll take care of it..get her some flowers or something to say Thank You

i only did 2 weekends since they started the new registration system, and none this year. but i don't ever recall the ccs contingency forms being available at registration since the swap. which is probably why they are saying participation is so low

Here' s the list of grids I've been in.
I have listed just the tire money I should have seen so far.
May 14 & 15 -
MWSS - 7 starters - Placed 2nd - $50 - Results not honored due to LRRS staff losing my paperwork
June 17, 18 & 19 -
MWGP - 13 starters - Placed 3rd - $40 - Payment recieved
MWSS - 14 starters - Placed 6th (result not eligible for contingency)
UNSS - 12 starters - Placed 3rd - $40 - Payment recived
August 20 & 21 -
MWGP - 14 starters -Placed 4th - $30 - Not payed
MWSS - 5 starters - Placed 1st - $100 - Not payed
UNSS - 11 starters - Placed 2nd - $50 - Not payed
Just in tire money my math comes back with a total of $310. I've seen $80.
I'm thinking my best course of action is to contact the CCS offices and find out where the breakdown begins.
I got a certificate from Sharkskinz about a week ago and one from Dunlop yesrterday for the Sept weekend. Its the only time I've placed well enough with enough riders.
I've received nothing all year. I don't know what the min grid sizes are for any of the contingencies, but I believe only one rain race had few enough starters to miss the cutoff.![]()

Bergs and Trouble: I emailed ContiRace today (used the email that confirmed my Conti registration, same as the one Jim PM'ed us) with screenshots of my results from LRRS online, got a quick reply from Brett who said he wasn't sure where the hold-up was but would issue my credits in advance directly to BoMo.![]()

Boston Moto and conti race will make sure everyone gets their contingency. We have already talked about this with them. If you did not follow procedure for whatever reason, contact us and we will see what we can do.
I can tell you for sure that CC'S is not the quickest at this stuff.
Pigman I think this would be a great thing. Alot of the LRRS regulars got reassigned new tasks as new mangement took over. Most left, some of the more hardcore/old school people have stayed and continued to be involved because of their love for motorcycle racing and the friendships they have made over the years.
I think passing of the hat / some sort of gift to sandy at the riders meeting on sunday would be a nice thank you for a job that is pretty thankless (and un-appreciated) for the most part.
I am sure there are a few others that deserve something like this in our organization and there are a few others that don't! LOL But good suggestion.
