The AMA will not come back unless there are significant changes to the track... no way it's gonna happen until there's a new road course or... I dunno what else they can do but it'd probably take more than a year to make it happen. But if that makes them put the $$ in and make some changes, it would be fantastic.
right now loudon is a motorcross track the surface is terrible...it would def be cool to see a real ama national again but not on that track

That would be GREAT if the AMA came back! Or somebody did something to get the Loudon Classic back to the way it used to be. I was quite surprised how empty the stands were. Manufacturer's tents were not there. I wanted to walk around and see some of the thousands of bikes I'd see back when the AMA used to be there, maybe there were a hundred bikes... Great racing was had but fan base was practically nonexistent.
Congrats Scottie!
You set a great example of how to win on and off the ractrack. We see you being gracious when receiving your trophies, and being approachable by the fans and fellow riders.
Good for you Scott!

Congrats Scott and badass on the new PB of 1:11.0. Sounds like it was a great race. Bummed I missed it.
Congrats to Jeff for setting a new 600cc track record of 1:10.8. That race sounded as good as the Classic with Scott and Jeff hammering on R6's (finally off those chattery Kwaks).
Key word is 'wants'. The AMA would love to come back. The org, the riders, the teams. They all have fond memories of the Loudon area and crowds. However without a new racetrack that's not going to happen. The current 1.6 mile track isn't suitable for AMA competition.

Kick Ass Scotty! That was an awesome race to watch, and it was really fun to watch you fight back to the lead on the restart (although I'm sure you'd have rather just kept the first start and the lead you took then). You were FLYING out there, and we were all going nuts rooting for ya.
Congrats SG!

Congrats Scott! The pass in 9 was as safe as your passes always are! No worries.
Way to ride your ass off and make it look effortless!
Great race. Congrats on the win, you made it look easy, which of course it was not. You are a class act Scott.
The burnout in Turn 6 was good. My kids liked that part the best !
Way to go Scott, Congrats!

Thanks Guys... Good Race.. Good Weekend.
As far as the AMA, sure they want to come back, but as pointed out, they want to come back to a new Track. NHMS just doesn't work for them.
congrats man!
