If you want to ride on a track that puts cones where the pot holes are and not the apex go right ahead.![]()

After riding at NHIS, Pocono East is like riding in a parking lot. It's flat and the pavement is not the greatest. The price may look good but after the time to get there and the price of gas, it doesn't end up being much of a deal.

Road america or summit point? Early july.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
used to ride this a lot and have to agree with the opinions above. i'd save my $$ and ride summit pt or VIR.

VIR is so far away and frankly the track is just too big for my SV. hows sheedoha? the SV is at home on a technical track. pocos east looked good. limerock? do they do bike trackdays?

I had more fun on the SV at VIR than I did the CBR600RR.

Lime Rock is lined with ARMCO that's why.

and NHIS isnt?
im not saying VIR wasnt fun but on both tracks i was in 6th gear before pit in. the south track was the lesser of the evils but i would have to DRASICALLY change my gearing so that im not at the redline for that long. i would come out of hogs pen in 5th and then immediatly grab 6th....and the needle just sat there at 10500rpm down the whole straight.

Lime Rock makes NHIS look like a GP track.
That's weird about your SV at VIR man. I rode Chad's SV and didn't have those problems at all. I was 4th coming out of the Hog Pen and hit first upshift lil ways out, then 2nd upshift before the kink. I had no problems topping the bike out. Granted it was WFO but wasn't binging off the revlimiter.
Obviously a bike (especially a smaller one) geared for Loudon is going to be way short at VIR. Buy a $50 set of sprockets and shaddup!!

ya well chads bike is geared way taller than mine which is why it doesnt pull out of the bowl like mine does. i also have more power than him. his was 15/45 at VIR, mine was 14/44.
either way it doesnt bring VIR any closer to NH:
