True... but Slicks and DOTs are the same rubber, just with grooves... blue pirelli is blue pirelli... and for world supersport they use the dots

I had one of those coming out of 12 in the dry a few weekends back. Unfortunately my GF was standing on the pit wall and witnessed the whole thing. She said she's never seen a slide like that without a crash. That's what buying takeoffs will get ya!

Lol! There's a vid of a kid on a 125 who did that and ran alongside the bike at like 55mph and jumped back on. Never give up. Although if I were this guy, I think i'd opt for letting go and taking a safe slide into the gravel separate from the bike.

Yup,i was on michelins..love em in the rain...my off had more to do with my right wrist than tire choice...very disapointed in myself..first crash EVER in the rain AND it was unnessary to be pushing that hard..oh well, can't change it now.

As for how i am doing ( Thanks for asking Scottie )...i had surgery on 11/19 and starting to feel better ( dislocating your knee is VERY painful ) looks like more physical therapy than snowmobieling this winter....hope to be 100% by April...maybe work with BostonMoto as an instructor/control rider Scottie?
