But after one more practice and getting used to it i think I might be able to get it lower.

Thanks i'll try to get off the seat some more but i'm still not sure i'm coming into 1a and i downshift before 2 and i'm still not going anywhere. is that just the ex's curse on horsepower or is there a different technique. talk to ya soon.

I hit my first downshift into 1, then my second in 1A.

Just twist the throttle a little earlier, you'll be fine.
