Yea, I guess it is really a stupid question. I mounted it with the tach but then a non-trackday/non-racer friend of mine questioned why no speedo.
I saw a pic, here maybe, of a tach with tape over it so it only showed rpm's greater than 6k. So as to remind you to keep the bike spinning in the higher range.
I thought the speed of every vehicle is the same all the time... Not fast enough.

I glance at the tach on the front straight maybe 3 times a race. i dont really use that either
