Anyone have a race ready MOTARD I can use during the Loundon Classic weekend?

I'm with Richie. I was thinking of running it for giggles but my dirty skills suck and I am slow as death on a Motard.

Id be happy with the wimpy jumps from a few years ago, but Ive never actually jumped anything. Not looking to learn on a race track on a dirt bike setup for pavement.

I will be fine. I ride dirt and I used to race a tard. I have done a real supermoto race on slicks down in CT.

I just wanna have some fun son.

I haven't ridden the CR500, but I've followed it a bit. It does seem pretty tame with the gearing required for loudon. My 125 pulled it on the straight...

Don't get me wrong it's pretty gnarly but not like a 500cc gp bike type of light up and spit you type of gnarly.

The thing is very rideable!

it would survive, but it would be a turd/hazard in an actual race.

That sounded harsh! I just meant it's not the right bike for the job. But you could do the actual motard race (with the dirt) on sportsman tires and do just fine. The all paved classes I'd skip.

That's pretty sick, I've never done flat track though and would ideally wanna practice at least once aha

I'll check but I think you'll still need to swap tires, normally knobbily tires aren't allowed in flat track.

Ooooh, tempting! I'd be worried that I'd kill your front brake, or worse crash after cooking it off mid race and I don't have anything usable as an upgrade in my spares bin at the moment. I'll see if I can find a Brembo 4 pot kicking around, in which case I'd be up for getting an adapter bracket and a cheap rotor as part of the 'rent' for the event...

I have a 320mm rotor you can use/buy.
