That CR is not as scary as it may seem. The power band hit's but is very smooth and predictable!!
It's a frikin dirtbike.

Don't get me wrong it's pretty gnarly but not like a 500cc gp bike type of light up and spit you type of gnarly.
The thing is very rideable!

Is there any hope that my WR250 would survive a weekend of being used as a race 'tard, or am I looking at redoing my top end after my first trip down the front straight and letting off the gas for 1?
I know I almost want to get 17" wheels for my yz250 for this but at the same time I don't.

Ooooh, tempting! I'd be worried that I'd kill your front brake, or worse crash after cooking it off mid race and I don't have anything usable as an upgrade in my spares bin at the moment. I'll see if I can find a Brembo 4 pot kicking around, in which case I'd be up for getting an adapter bracket and a cheap rotor as part of the 'rent' for the event...![]()
