Surely you got room in that wambulance.
I raced wvrc this past weekend for the first time all year. Im just gonna go ahead and say everything I told you was bullshit. The club has grown ALOT in the past year and the mini class.... holy crap. I think there were more bikes in the mini class then the entire rest of the field. Saturday night I think their had to run something like 5 heats with 6 riders with the top 3 advancing then a lcq. The main looked like an absolute blast. With bikes banging bars everywhere. I honestly wish I still had my 100. Then again, being the only wack job dumb enough to run a supermoto with rain tires was fun. Specially when I actualy beat a few people with actual flat track bikes
I want in. I want in. I want in.
dude, I'll roll with you Sav!

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
Any other motard guys wanna come play? Roger says he will even give us our own class if we wanna come play. Theres one more race weekend there this year. He also said hes going to add some practice days
I have a ktm 525 with Michelin pilots on lol
I have a machine kurlon has called vastly uncompetitive.
So I have a machine which roughly matches my skill.
I also have my eye on CL for XR100's.
I've been following it very little just not to tempt me. Been trying to save money for the SV and next years track/race budget. I live 15-20 minutes from the track.

Next race is October 11th and 12th. Its a double header so they will be running a full program bolth days. Its only $30 a class and a $10. Gate fee so its pretty dam cheap
I've got shagged rains for my 525smr but that's just ridiculous. I can pull xr100s from the crew at CMP for this.

Well, from what I've seen. Don't waist your time with wheels and tires. Stock nobbies seem to be the way to go. I looked like there were plenty of stock 100s out there bit I didn't check. They may have been 120 kitted and resprung for all I know
I'd imagine flat tracking has a lot to do with rider skill too ???
@ nhbugs - why not just start with a stock bike, get as fast as you can (because skills are free, amirite?!?), then do individual mods that you view would make you faster?

Obviously skills are a huge part of it. But with these small bikes, bike mods, specialy engine mods, seem to give you a lot more than a 450 that's hardly ever even wide open and even when it is, its spinning the entire time.
I lined up a 150 today for 10/11 and 10/12 - see you guys at the track. *braaaap!

Here is a NESR post with some videos. The adult 100-160cc TT race had a great battle for the lead for a few laps (short video shot from track side posted along with other helmet gopro clips at the link below).
