its a little late i know but heres the RR. (kinda long)
after last race weekend atrociousness. i was determined to make up for it.
Sat had me out in LWGP. start was mediocre and as usual i started behind everyone. got by Jersey in 3 while following #526 up the inside a lap or 2 in and i had my sights set on Pete. a couple 2 strokes made their way through us and then #132 came by me (3 i think). i stayed with him but he was parking it everywhere. i made my move into 11, on the brakes around the outside of the entry. i blew by and thought "cool, now to catch Pete" i get on the straight and #132 blows by me.."FUCK". more of the same with the slow corners. i make another run into 11 but he pushes me out. i jump the curb on the outside apex and fall in behind. just as im about to flip for 12 the 1st place AM goes around the outside of me and completely blocks 12. i have to check up and lose all my drive. "DAMMIT!". then Jersey goes back by me on the straight. "WTF?". i get Jersey back on the outside of 6. i start reeling in Pete. i brake into 3 and fuckin Jay goes by me on his 250. "where the fuck did he come from?" i stay on jays tire but cant find a way by. he seems to having some trouble getting up to speed out of 6/7 but i cant do anything. this goes on for a couple laps while we both get closer to Pete. Last lap, ive given up on Pete since Jay is just too hard to get by. we exit the bowl and ive got big speed on him into 7. i go for the out of 8. i get next to him and really hear the bike hit the pipe. we are side by side into 9 and ive got the inside. i grab the binders and get it reeled in and jay is in my peripheral. he disappears but reappears on the exit of 10. all of the sudden Pete is right *there* i brake deep for 11 as Pete runs wide. we exit 12 and im 2ft behind him. its a drag race that i lose by a few tenths. i guess there was a whole chain. SMF,Pete,Jay,Me and Jersey all running around. i forget where i finished but Pete gets this one. i just couldnt get a solid lap together, someone would always get in between us and fuck up my groove. oh well. next time.
Sun. LWSB. Rain..lots of rain. i love the rain.
Money race, top 8, 12 laps. green drops and i almost get taken out by a black and white missile from the back row...#60 Tansey...what a start! Jerseys behind me and Pete and Alex are in my sights but there are some bikes between us. i make some early moves and pick off 3-4 bikes on the first lap. i get to the S/F line and all hell is breaking loose ahead of me. i go into 1 and see alex sliding down the oval with another bike. i pick off another bike and get the Red flag.
Restart. Alex is out with a broken brake line and like the first start i cant see the flag man. Tansey blows by me again but now im on Petes ass into 3, get it done early and keep moving. i spin a few more laps and catch up to Nate (#121) and get by him in the bowl (i think) try to break away and start reeling in Tansey. 2-3 laps go by and i cant get by him. i even drop back a little to clear my head. then Nate goes back by me into 3. then proceeds to motor past Tansey on the straight, i then get Tansey into 3. i chase Nate for the remainder of the race. i can next to him in the bowl, 1, 9 and even exiting 12 but just cant get by him. the white flag comes out and i need to make some moves. i rail through 9, knee down, (there is literally a river/lake at the exit of 10..few inches deep easily). Nate was standing the bike up, going through the puddle then hitting the gas, i come out of 10, run it wide, square it up and gas it through the puddle. im next to Nate and set up for the inside of 11 when he starts moving over into me. the left apex on the entry to 11 is coming up fast. i throw out the anchors and try to keep it under control. its too close, i brace for impact. we miss tires by inches, i throw it into 11. Nate fucks up 12 and i run up the inside of him on the exit to the straight. i cant power past him...hes got too much. i look over at him just in time to see the rear spin up. i grab a gear and run out to the wall. i cross the line ahead of him and im stoked. it was a blast. i go and check times and position....i finished 5thi go see Al and discover i won $150! ca-ching! did i mention i love the rain?
see you guys in a few weeks.

placing by tenths of a second, alex put a great pic of the bowl up on facebook.
I was getting no drive out of the bowl because I don't have my lines down pat with the new turn in speeds and risked running up petes ass on the pipe carrying the right cornerspeed for the gear I had practiced. Wasn't pushing the passes either, I'm still getting used to the bike this being my first real race on it. Oh, and it's hard as hell to even get a decent start with, you were all clicking second gear before I could even get the thing off the line.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Nice job, teabagger.
