ballsy.
Why would Rossi feel threatened by Lorenzo? If Jorge can best him with equal equipment, that is still a testimony of Rossi's ability having done all the developement on this bike. It is a passing of the torch from the master to the apprentice.
i would think that even though Rossi has a championship history and is an extraordinary rider he is 8 years older than Jorge and if he is already battling Rossi at that age he can only get better. wouldnt be surprised to see them let Rossi go to Ducati
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Can't be that special if you're going to drop an ultimatum into their lap.Originally Posted by Valentino Rossi

Pls make sure this thread doesn't turn into a spoiler. Tv coverage of the last race is later today.

I would love to see Rossi on a Duc...
Better yet, Let's see Aprilia put a competetive machine under his butt.
true, but it's like that for most of the paddock. everyone of those guys, even hayden, the PR poster child, can be catty when they think their toes are being stepped. they are all type A personalities.
$$$$. and it's tough to believe a factory when they say "you will both be on equal machinary". thats an expensive proposition that most companies can't support.
agreed. i'm a rossi fan and a yamaha fan so i would hate to see him leave, but i would like to see if he could actually ride the bike and if so, i wonder if he can do it at stoners pace. i could see rossi moving to duc, ben moving to the factory team and nicky going to tech 3.
something to keep in mind, all four of the top guys need new contracts at the end of next season. should be a fantastic silly season.

I was thinking the same thing...
at least rossi threw in "But I prefer at this moment to stay with Yamaha because the love between me and Yamaha, our relationship, is something special. To change bike would feel unfaithful. So for Yamaha it is important that I finish my career with them and for me it is also important. "
I can't stand when riders mention their options and all that and never mention their current sponsor once or give any type of thanks.
I am also psyched that means rossi is racing for several more years![]()
