ok so i was going through the LRRS rule book trying to decide what classes i'll be running in. the question i have is for GTL and ULSB. for both classes it says in the rule book "purpose built road race machinery such as TZ250s and RS250s are not allowed." my question is, even though my bike is a 250 GP machine (legal in ULSB according to the displacement limits) it started life as a street bike, headlight, blinkers all that jazz.... so i should be legal in those classes right?
were over 1000 available for street purchase?

world wide yes deffinatly... in the U.S. ummm, not really sure. i know there are afew street legal NSRs in the U.S. but they are pretty darn rare
if you can produce a piece of paper saying its a streetbike then i say yes. kinda like LWSS. you can only run a motard in that class if it came from the factory with a street title. if you have a street title then go for it and be prepared to show it if someone bitches. i dont think anyone will bitch unless your winning (no offense)
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

They should call Production Twins what it really is, Shitty McBikefest. Rules for Participation: If your bike runs lower laptimes than a lawnmower, you are not eligibile for Shitty McBikefest. -Darrell

nope, deffinatly not in the same league as a TZ and i'm 99% sure an aprillia RS will be faster down the straights. like Oxx said i'm pretty sure no one will protest a back marker. i'll just see how it goes for the first weekend, than figure it out from there.
thanks for the help guys
