Sat Sept 5 race 8 replay

Gunner and I each had a gps logger during Saturday's race 8. Here's a recreation from that data. The first and last lap are shown in normal time, but the middle of the race is sped up 10 times to make the video shorter.



I'm working on getting more 125s and EX500s "instrumented" for next race weekend!

(Oh, putting a gps on the ambulance would be interesting as well! It would help explain slower speeds around the bowl for a couple of laps...)

Holy shit that's cool. where did you get such a detailed aerial of NHMS? Can't wait to be part of this... very cool stuff. You may have just sold me on the GPS solution for a timer.

The ambulance slowed you down for the bowl if you knew what the fuck you were doing. If you were me, it slowed you down from the time you saw those flags until you were well past the incident. :facepalm:

Don should be at TTD as well. We can all gang up on Dan and leave him in the dust! (Of course, Dan might find more fast than us at LAPS and leave us all behind come race weekend...)
