Looks like suzuki will lose Kevin Schwantz because they wouldn't give him a team. He switched his school to Honda bikes, and now he's gonna manage American Honda's moto2 wildcard effort with Roger Lee as a rider.

That guy also has something going with another OEM dealio. Playing all the angles. I believe the term is called 'hustling' :-p
Honda's USA Boss is giving a big middle finger to AMA with this effort cause he's still pissy they took away his fancy rules and 145hp FX bikes. All I know is fans were pissed in the stands at Daytona cuz Honda wasn't supporting american roadracing.
This whole Moto2 wildcard deal is weeeeird all around.

This is going to be exciting with Schwantz leading Porkchop.
It seems as if #34 has been drifting away from Suzuki for a little while. I think it was last year that his school moved from Road Atlanta to Barber and started using CBR600RRs in addition to the GSXR-600s and SV650s as their rental rides. The name also changed from the "Kevin Schwantz Suzuki School" to the "Schwantz School". Before, you could bring your own bike, provided it was a Suzuki. Now it's Suzuki and Honda.
Welcome to 40th place.

good on schwantz for hustling to get what he wants, i just hope it works out for him. as far as RL getting the ride, unfortunately i hate to say it, but i'd guess he only got picked because the ama has some seriously decent racing this year and there were some guys that would have gotten the opportunity to run with kevin but didnt want to risk their current ama chances for a wildcard ride. rog has nothing to lose.
