Naw, the transmission was funky from almost the first day. Dropping the bike 10 inches and sliding off the track didn't crack the cylinder or make the transmission any worse.

Thanks everyone for the offers of borrowing/selling a bike. I'm going to get the R6 going again. I'm not real comfortable with borrowing a bike for racing...I'm afraid I'll end up owning it (either because I like it or because I throw it down the track).

Things are improving

- apparently I have two cracked pistons, not a cracked cylinder (I heard wrong). A couple of gears are gone and the shift fork is bent. However, that means the motor is fixable. I sold the F4i and that cash is brining back the R6.

and,............it should be ready for the NEXT RACE WEEKEND .
