Need one for the SV this weekend, apparently it fell off at some point.... just need the clip. (unless there's a way of securing it w/o the clip using safety wire or something)
Also wanna buy another one for the Tuono so I can remove one link.... chain's just a touch too long.

Right in Woburn there is a hardware store that sell the links and clips. They have a good selection of links and sizes any thing you would need.

I would imagine that is something that Miles has on hand, but I would shoot him a message. I am sure he will bring them for you.
Bring your chain with you, as all the master links are different. For the record, I've never seen just the clips listed as parts anywheres so I think you'll end up getting a whole new link.
Edit: Speaking of S&C, will they be at the track Wed? (Carl's school)
dont count on it Pete. i had a hard time getting one from them. do what i did and safety wire it.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

what kind of chain are you running pete? i have a couple spare rivet style master links for DID ER X ring chains.

Uh yea bro. Should have the clip on there and then wire/epoxy the clip on...
You wanna mess with your chain flying off? I've had the safety wire break on my chain before as well... so no clip and no wire = boom.
Boston --> San Diego
Eh, I'm new to the whole clip master link thing... only had rivets up until now. I've heard of saftey wiring and/or epoxying them but haven't seen the job done in person.
And apparently I already flirted with disaster cuz I never even noticed the clip wasn't on there until I got the bike home from the last race weekend![]()

i just put the safety wire on like a clip so its in the grooves where the clip would go. i keep checking it as its the first time ive tried it but it seems to be working and Heaths hasnt fallen off yet and we all know what kind of mechanic he is

Oh... well if Heath does it, I'll make sure to get someone to weld it on.

Pete, I'll have a rivet tool with me this weekend if you decided not to go with the clip-type link.
