Does anyone race a Kawasaki KX500 Super-Moto at the track?
The most powerful dirtbike ever available, with a 500cc two-stroke engine and ~65HP stock. With some engine work, they dyno at 80HP+. I bet it could eat YZs and CRFs for lunch...
MSRP of $5,000, damn I wish I had the money.

It would prolly blow upIt's 15 year old tech, i doubt very much it will eat anything on the track. Honda made a CR500 up until 2001 with comparable power (prolly even more), i don't think there is/ever was, much of a market for them.
Yamaha
The KX500 has slightly better top-end than a CR500 and much better low and mid-range power.

The CR500 was older technology than the KX500:

"Without a powervalve, the Honda CR500 was the most Jurassic Open-Classer."
I want a super-moto with 500cc two-stroke power, hopefully by next spring I will have one. They must call CRFs "4-jokes" for a reason![]()
Good luck racing with the YZ though, cool to see someone with a Super-Moto. Sure looks like fun, I will have to build one myself. ..
