Due to a sudden heavy workload at the office (four federal court motions to draft and file by Monday and one state appellate brief to write by Wednesday), it is quite possible that I may be out for this weekend. I'll know more later today and tomorrow.

Given the current weather forecast I cannot say that I am too upset. Notwithstanding, I am bummed that I might miss the last race weekend of the season (first time in 5 years).

So I just spoke with a few people from our group setting up now and its not raining,(at least at our site)as a matter of fact its rather nice.

Basically this is all dependent on what that storm does that is brewing by the Carolinas... and the weather people guess 100 times and change their mind 125 times and are always wrong in the end anyways (seriously, best job ever they are wrong every day and never get in trouble for it).

The whole damn thing could blow out to sea, it could sweep through MA and miss NH entirely, it could come to NHMS and just sit there dumping precipitation for a week straight.

Who the fuck knows... go up there prepared for anything and deal with whatever happens. Done deal.

I have a theory about weather forcasters, if theres even a miniscule chance of rain, they'll predict rain, cause then if it rains, they were right, if it doesnt, everyones happy cause it didnt rain. If however they predict nice weather, and it ends up raining, everyones pissed. So I believe they err on the sound of bad weather to save their own asses.
Thus, its gonna be gorgeous.
