Thurs Test and Tune or Fri Penguin Practice?

Anyone heading to the track early to get some track time before the first race weekend?

What's the best option, Thurs Test and Tune weather looks sketchy? I expect Penguin PM practice to be a mad house before the first weekend?

Should of went to VIR with the rest of us 2 weeks ago

....If you can make it up there for Thurs and Fri, then thats your best option.
Plan on Thurs and use rains if needed....Friday will be less track time and more of a shit show.
I'm expecting to pay for 4 sessions and hopefully get in two good ones.

if you do the Friday Penguin - note the new time schedule - the practice sessions now start at 1PM.

The Thursday will be less crowded.... (but as you say some chance <30%> of afternoon rain. It starts at 9am -

Ill be down Thursday by 1130 to set up but Im leaning twords Friday Practice, again the weather looks tons better

good move....Loudon creates it's own weather system - it could be bright and Sunny all day and raining in Laconia (or vice versa).

yes it does, Fri works better for me anyway. I dont get out of work untill 8am Thursday morning no way could I make it down set up and go practice on no sleep. at least this way I have all day Thurs to relax and get ready for the Friday practice

I had planned on both, but life got in the way. Heading to the track now. I'm in for Fri as well.

Haven't done a Thurs practice in a year or so, but cornerworkers were light in years past. No tech either. One afternoon the track shut down for a couple hours while we all cleaned an oil spill from T7 - T10 (someone's drain plug fell out). Good bang for the buck if everyone plays nice.

Fridays are more crowded and sometimes get red flagged, but more people to watch out for eachother is better once in a while.
