Heading down tomorrow to pick this thing up:
http://boston.craigslist.org/for/160747905.html
Figure it should be good for hauling up the race bike and hiding out in during monsoons. Maybe do the hardcore special and stick an air mattress in there too. Would have liked to pick up a taller (this one's only 5'2" inside), dual axle trailer...but for 1k, who can argue...
great deal! I need to keep my eyes open for something like that.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
i wish my car could pull something like that

Pulled the trailer up from Worcester last night. Looks to be in good condition, the lock on the front door was seized but a few seconds with the oxy-acetylene torch took care of that.
The floor D rings are set up for snowmobiles so they're spaced wider than are really needed for bikes. Might put other rings down eventually to try and make room for three bikes and/or more cargo (the tie straps are going to string out wide and waste cargo space atm). Not sure it's worth going the e-track route as I may upgrade to a larger trailer in the future.
Protip for the SUV driver: You will *not* be able to see out of your mirrors pulling an 8 foot wide trailer. I picked up the trailer with my father's explorer as I was coming back from CT, and the drive home was hairy as hell, fortunatley it was dark enough that I could just barely see headlights of cars behind me enough to make lane changes. But I'll be much happier pulling this thing with my truck with it's nice wide mirrors.
Overall, seems like a grand well spent. When I started adding up the cost of a decent set of ramps for my truck plus a halfway decent tent to replace the aging one I've been bring up to the track, it just seemed to make sense to spend a few extra bucks and get a decent trailer for easier loading and dry storage / sleeping at the track. Plus, with the way enclosed trailers hold their value, I'm sure I can turn this thing around for what I paid for it once it's time to upgrade.
Good deal man. Not having to rely on other people to haul your bike up to the track = pricelessOriginally posted by OreoGaborio

Hmm, with huckleberry getting the same trailer, and David coming up next weekend, we're gonna have to get to the track early to secure space for all our vehicles and shit. Cheap Bastid Racing is going to be taking up some room at the track in June![]()
Hucklefuckker hasn't gotten the trailer yet, he needs to secure his internship first!
