After seeing the 2010 schedule for Lrrs, I realized I could only do 2 weekends. So, I started looking into racing elsewhere in my time off to get my fix. I may look into doing another Keith code school etc... I would love to do some track days at other tracks and would like to try something like the star school out west. A few pacific north west tracks look intresting..... So I started researching tracks around the north east and stumbled upon Lime rick in Ct. They don't mention anything at all about race bikes so I assume its out of the question but does any one know why? anything else available in the northeast for track days? Watkins Glen??????

There's going to be a couple CCS weekends there, and Tony's TrackDays is running a bunch of events there also.

Last I knew both Watkins Glen and Lime Rock are 4-wheeled traffic only.

"Because every crash zone is lined with a wall or guard rails..."
Both true statements. California Superbike school used to do days at Watkins Glen (I did my first track day with CSS there).
Lime Rock used to do "test and tune days" for 1 hour for bikes. The riders had to have a racing license to do it. It was $50 and actualy usually lasted for 1-2 hours.
Luckly I have been on both tracks both with cars and bikes. If it weren't for Armco at Watkins Glen that would be my favorite track. Even compared to VIR.

The rumor is that Sportbike Track Time has 10 dates scheduled @ Monticello, 1 of which will be the South Course and a good deal of the remaining days on the full course. Woo-Hoo!!
So I assume for safety they will never open up for bikes again? (Watkins and Lime Rock)
I plan On making a trip or 2 to new Jersey. What about Pocano....I did a California superbike school there and I didn't see them on the ccs schedule. Anybody know what Happenend??

Pocono's taboo to many bike clubs anymore. And as far as CCS racing there, well, I wouldn't hold your breath.
