There is a place in swansea that sells VP racing fuels..

I know Gary needs to use them so maybe it's cheaper than getting it at the track

I just bought some from them, but the $5.50 at the pump might not be what Gary needs, and I think the other grades they sell are more $. The reason I say that is I put their stuff in my bike and it should make the exit of the exhaust look white. It hasn't done that to my bike???

Karl's East Coast Speed has it right in Apponaug Warwick. I used to race my car out of that team shop. I think they have 105 (red) and 116 (blue) octane to choose from in VP.

I'm trying everything I can!!!!! It feels like my bike makes 85HP.
Fuckin Kawasaki I should have never bought that thing, or I should just stick to doing track days. But then again I'm still doing better times then you. But I'm sure I won't be any longer.

the fuel i run is VP-MR1. I think it's 97 octane, $14 per. gal. it does leave the exhaust tip a light grey or white color.

    Dude!
If you are gonna be running the high octane stuff, we better advance your timing!

And figure a way to crank your compression ratio up.
Don't be surprised if you run slower with that stuff in there...
But what the hell, give it a try!

    Here's the specs for MR1
It's got all the good stuff in it...and It's only 90 octane...

Kip...you should try this, but we gotta open up your main jets..

I hope to do the Thursday practice so I will see how the VP fuel works. I talked to one of the owners when I bought the gas and his comment was to mix the VP fuel I bought with 50 % 93 Octane and see what happens. This is what he does with his bike that has no motor work and he said it works good.

I can try and get it cheaper (if you were talking to me G). If anyone CAN get it for less $ it would be me but I don't think they mind being the middle men for a delivery of fuel like that so I doubt there is much mark-up to haggle over at all. I'll ask tonight. Just specify which octane and how much so I know before I call Karl at home ....

"If anyone can get it for less it would be me" This comes from a guy who spends hundreds and hundreds of $ to have Atlantic Motor sports change his tires and claim they did a fork oil change. Funny, the first time you rode the bike hard after the forks were done they leaked.
But don't worry Gary he can get the gas cheaper for you.

    Kip,
bring some new sparkplugs with you, try mixing 50/50 but because the VP is oxygenated, you may find some lean runs going on.

I got some larger Main jets for Jay's bike, but because we disabled his pollution crap, he doesn't need them.

Get a hold of Jay, and ask him if you can "Borrow" his jet case..I just got the 4th one I ordered for him a couple days ago..good thing we didn't need it. the jets are a 2 sizes up from what you are running now (i think)...
Lemme know if you wanna do this, I could try to be there on Thursday. I'll be at the track Weds playing corner worker for track day....

I have all the info on the different available VP fuels and costs. It would be easier to talk over the phone so I don't have to type it out. With types like MR1 there are no additional mark-ups besides the delivery and taxes so it is still expensive even for me to get through my old team. Kip or Gerard can contact me.
